Bill Corley, an Organizer with IBEW Local 103, was named the new Chair of the Organizing Roundtable this week. Brother Corley has had a long and distinguished career organizing workers and bringing them into the Labor Movement. "Bill Corley will be a great steward of the Organizing Roundtable as we seek to move the Organizing agenda of labor in Massachusetts forward. We understand that Organizing must be linked to everything we do - politics, legislation, community service, everything. Bill Corley understands that and will help the Organizing Roundtable continue to be a very effective endeavor of this State Federation. Bill Corley will be a great chair and will work closely with current members of the Roundtable, as well as recruit new members so that we keep heading in a positive direction for workers," said President Haynes.
Please join President Haynes, Chair Corley, and members of the Organizing Roundtable in New Hampshire at the New Hampshire AFL-CIO on Wednesday May 10th to see a presentation by AFL-CIO Organizing Director Stuart Acuff.
Also, join the Organizing Roundtable on Tuesday June 13th for its monthly meeting. Details for both meetings are above.
