Brother Corley has had a long and distinguished career organizing workers and bringing them into the Labor Movement. "Bill Corley will be a great steward of the Organizing Roundtable as we seek to move the Organizing agenda of labor in Massachusetts forward. We understand that Organizing must be linked to everything we do - politics, legislation, community service, everything. Bill Corley understands that and will help the Organizing Roundtable continue to be a very effective endeavor of this State Federation. We want all the members and general Public to understand why the wind turbine was not spinning recently.
There are many tests and adjustments that you have to do after the wind turbine is standing. First of all you have to wire it up with a 200 amp service and pull all the data cables for voice and data to the internet. There are special meters for reading the output of the wind turbine to have connected. Then there has been vigorous days of TESTING and ADJUSTMENTS. The new wind turbine is put up in a few days but it can not run without all the various testing cycles. We have to take the time even if we are all waiting for it to spin. We needed these strong winds to make sure all is safe and it is. With the Nor’easter we all wanted to run it but we had to make sure the brakes can hold it from spinning so it can never run above recommended speeds. |
